The leg detail of this table floated around the Lowe Furniture workshop for more than eight years before the team found a top that perfectly complemented it; a piece originally designed for Melbourne graphic designer Tony DiDonato and his family. With its soft rounded edges and timber grain running across rather than lengthwise, it enhanced the 1960s reference in the leg detail and proved to be the perfect match. And so, the Sterling was born. These tables can be made up to five metres in length which is testament to the team’s skill and mastery of timber construction.
