Balzac is an iconic early 90s collection comprising an armchair, an ottoman, a two-seat sofa and a three-seat sofa. These classic designs by Matthew Hilton are wonderfully proportioned, luxurious in comfort.
The first piece of the collection, the armchair, was launched in 1991, and it went on to become SCP’s signature piece and bestseller. The sofa is an extension of the design.
The pieces are made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using natural and sustainable materials.
